JAGour President, Producer, Fiction, Nonfiction and Screen Writer
Miriam Goodspeed, the author of the novel "Snow Job", its accompanying movie script, scripts "Blood Warriors", "Behold
They Cometh," and numerous short movies as well as award winning short stories, has a varied background. She spent her formative
years in the Los Angeles area, but has also lived extensively in Texas, South Carolina and Florida. She studied at various
colleges in Southern California as well as Furman University and the University of South Florida
An award winning journalist and former newspaper editor, Miriam Goodspeed has been recognized repeatedly
for her writing and editing skills. She is a published writer of numerous newspaper and magazine articles and co-authored
a soon to be published non fiction book, Mirrors Within Mirrors with Ingrid Vallieres, a German author and pioneer
in the field of past life therapy. Prior to her film involvement, she was also a theatre, film and music critic for newspapers
in Texas, South Carolina and Florida.
Miriam is a member of the Bay Area Professional Writers Association, Tampa Writers Alliance , The Florida Writers
Association, The Florida Freelance Writers Association and is a former member of the Society of Professional Journalists.

She is the former newsletter editor, former Vice President and former longtime Secretary of the
Tampa Bay Area . Chapter of the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association. and she is a former Executive Vice
President of it’s State Board
She wrote her first two plays by the age of ten, and today has penned a number of screen plays which serve
as a basis for the companies projects.
An accomplished actress as well as author, she is the recipient of Florida’s coveted state Crystal
Reel Award in acting. She has screen credit for her role as a neighbor in Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands, appeared
as Mrs. Markoe in Markoe vs. Markoe in the television series Divorce Court, and she has appeared in numerous
film, television and stage productions.
